Dolphins Offseason Thread (Mandatory Mini-Camp 6/10 - 6/12)

They’ve already said diggs isn’t going anywhere at this point.

I have heard about the hitch in the delivery but that’s probably cause he’s learning a new offense and it’s early still.

Pats schedule is cake on paper but so is ours so…

Ain’t no one catching the bills anyways if Allen stays healthy think I saw sometbing where they have the easiest schedule. Not that it matters
Man what will you do when your man crush in Allen has a bad game/month/year? Just curious?

I take it you haven't seen his gameday tape. Wishful thinking by quite a few of you people. This dude can't process jack s***. He threw some of the worst interceptions i have ever seen.
So did Sam Darnold.

Looked like you were glazing honestly. Either that or you fail to keep up with this thread. Its been posted a number of times.

This kid is not an in structure qb. This is quite possibly the worst qb to get hoping he can operate an offense like mcdaniels. Now say Tua gets injured, I sure hope McDaniel learned his lesson and has a secondary offense scripted for guys like Wilson. Not denying his arm strength and talent, this kid needs to gain confidence again i just dont see it.
Fair enough.

We've got literally people like Pete Prisco saying that NE has zoomed past Miami. Really? That seems like an insane take.

They have a very mechanical quarterback that their local media is hyping. They did the same thing with Tua's backup from Bama who bombed out. It's the boy who cried wolf. They also way overpaid for mediocre additions.

The Jets are looking at Justin Fields at quarterback. He's scary rushing off the edge but if you contain him and put a spy on him, he's a disaster as a passer. He can't anticipate or read complex coverages to save his life. The guy literally has to see a guy open before he throws. He's had that problem since Ohio State. There's clips of him on youtube not even seeing blatantly open receivers on a regular basis.

The Dolphins have a few weeks to figure out corner. If they do it, they should be decidedly in playoff contention.
I hope you are right.

Yes, been there, done that. - LOL

Sorry. I was told this can’t be. Nothing is designed to make it easier on tua
Sorry, I don’t get your point. Aren’t all coaches trying to design plays to get an easy score or a big play? Would you knock Mahomes because Andy Reid designed a great play? Why wouldn’t coaches try to make it easier for their QB?

Couldnt disagree more. Playing college baseball one of the hitting drills we used to use was taking a broom stick and soft tossing golf wiffle balls using the stick to hit balls. The task the wide receivers are doing makes them focus harder as the object is smaller, reinforces the idea of using your eyes following the ball into your hands, and making hands "softer" to catch passes. I love the idea as it is nothing but thinking outside the box.

You didn’t disagree…you literally did exactly what I said from a baseball side. You made it harder but you didn’t swing opposite handed. Broom stick and smaller balls makes it harder but you didn’t have to change your swing to accomplish the task. They aren’t catching tennis balls with both hands.

As I pointed out, there is 100% still value in doing it. However you want to make it harder and still keep it more game like, you just use a small leather football.
