Yet so many people dismiss Miami because of struggles vs so called elite teams last year and the seasons before. Seems like sometimes the past matters and other times it doesn't, just depends on if it supports or counters their beliefs.

Correct but the Dolphins struggling against good teams has been a problem for awhile now. They have owned the Patriots but this is a new season and they have a new head coach. They won't be pushovers anymore.

i think the Patriots have never beaten the Dolphins when Tua's been at the helm. Not saying it can't change this year, but this will the 6th season for Tua so that's a pretty good streak. Patriots could shock some people, however I also could see them possibly finishing last in the division.

Ya but again every year is different. What they have done against the Patriots in the past won’t matter this year.

I agree that the past has little impact on the present or future, but in that regards I would also say the Bills dominance of the AFC East won't be a factor in the 2025 outcome. If the Bills continue to win in 2025 it will be because they're the better team or had a few plays break their way. It won't be that they won because of anthing they did in 2024 or 2023.

Yup! It’s so obvious… seriously I have enjoyed watching the Dolphins since Jake Scott and Larry Czonka, but my goodness a football novice like myself understands the tragedy of stupid Dolphin Gms and coaches. In hockey or soccer a goalie is your most valuable player - in football it’s your trenches. Average QBs can win championships behind great o lines. See the Eagles last season…a good o line rests your D. A rested average D is often better than a talented worn out D. Let me be in charge and I guarantee you people will get what they want..and at press conferences I will tell Don Shula stories…

I know this below doesn't belong here but y'all remember that asshole Ballard from Indy laughing when we didn't take the TE at 13?

Perhaps that asshole should have taken a QB instead cause Richardson is a lost cause and Daniel Jones is their starter. 😄
