The key point in your sentence is at the time he signed, Grier has lacked the foresight to sign his draft picks a year early so we aren’t paying premium price for non top 5 production.

Waddle is the only one I can remember them signing early and even at 28 mill it ended up being an overpay for how he’s played since and the fact that money could’ve been spent resigning Hunt instead of a number 2 receiver who has a similar skill set to our top receiver.

Yeah but top receiver is unstable at best and certifiable otherwise

Cam Smith coming back in after a few plays is a good sign of toughness.

It is surprising that there is not much mention of BJ Adams. Lance Zierlein graded him the highest of the undrafted corners and a higher grade than he gave Marshall.
