It did t work with Marino why would it now. Sorry I wasn’t around when we beat the bills in 70s. From 87 on we been their bitches except for a few years.

Shula won like 18 out 20 from 72 to 82 against the Bills… I don’t blame Shula for the late 80s and 90s - Kumerow and Bosa and Hugh Green getting injured Jackie Shipp was a bust and our weak secondary were not for a lack of putting assets to deal with the loss of the killer bees… likely steroids were a big factor in people getting injured (just a guess)…

I agree about too much invested in a fragile 6 foot 1 (maybe) QB… I’d buy an o line and put Goff back there or Garafalo or you get a guy like the QB on the Cardinals…someone good enough and ball control…

I’m a huge advocate of the don’t overpay the QB… build a monstrous o line and D line and a linebacker or 2 and win that way…

Honestly the Dolphins build over the years w Hill and Waddle and Achane and Tua and crap o lineman gets us 8-9 or 9-8 and playing wild card games in -15 degree weather.

It’s SO TOUGH TO BE A DOLPHIN FAN! Why can’t I be a fan of a REAL TEAM?

You don’t blame Shula for Marino never winning a Super Bowl? That’s the biggest crime in sports
 
One of the reasons I enjoyed 2016 team was that win in Buffalo in December. They were not great but we usually lost to to them even when they sucked. And game against bills in Miami. Qb 17 made a great throw to Landry on third down across his body. Funny enough gase had best record against bills. Was 4-4. Otherwise they have owned us

Team is built wrong now. I do blame Shula though for that time. I agree bad luck with bosa green and even a few others. Now

I blame Grier for this. I like Tua but we need to be physical in every aspect since he doesn’t have strongest arm.

Draft was good start. But we got a ways to go. Just hoping we can make playoffs again . No higher expectations than that at this point.

Had some good small receivers, one tight end for a few years worth a damn in Jackson

Rest of that team was filled with jags everywhere

8-9 or 9-8? You mean except when they win 11 games? Or did you just purposely forget about that year so you could keeping “raving”.

Yep and I’d argue that’s why Shula is overrated
