The two Pro Bowl performers on the
Miami Dolphins' offensive line – left tackle
Branden Albert (wrist) and center
Mike Pouncey (hip) – didn't practice Wednesday and their status for Sunday's game against the
San Francisco 49ers is questionable.
Things are only slightly more certain for rookie guard/tackle
Laremy Tunsil (shoulder), who practiced on a limited basis. Coach
Adam Gase wasn't specific about any of the three after practice.
"We'll see," Gase said about their status. "I don't know. I really don't know. Until I know something about Tunsil. ... I don't know what's going on with 'B.A.' (Albert). I still really don't have all of the information on Pouncey yet."
Still, the offensive linemen are optimistic they can get the job done regardless of which five are on the field.
"I feel like there's definitely a confidence level that's different," right tackle Ja'Wuan James said. "That 'next-man' mentality coach Gase keeps talking about is definitely in full effect."
