Dolphins on Sportcenter!!!!

They're about to talk about the Fins and their QB situation!
This is becoming an annual thing. Every year since Marino left, there has been a topic on SportsCenter discussing our QB situation.

When are we getting a franchise QB? :shakeno:

ESPN says Dolphins have a choice to make. C-pep would have to compete for the starting job.

Sounds like they think we keep C-Pep and the best man wins in training camp. I just caught the tail-end of it.

Say the Fins will make a run at Carr because he comes for free. The Chiefs would want at least a 5th for Green which is what Miami gave up for Harrington.

Very intersting stuff. Michael Smith said that if the Cheifs are to trade Green to Miami to be a starter, they are going to expect around a 5th rounder. He also said that now Miami can wait and try to sign David Carr without giving up any picks and that no matter what happens, Culpepper is given his chance to win the job.

This puts an interesting shake on things. So heading into camp, our QBs could be:

1. David Carr or Trent Green
1. Daunte Culpepper (Battling for the starting spot)
3. Cleo Lemon

I don't know what to expect now. I feel for Cameron, he has a tough decision to make.

This is actually the most prude approach. I was flabbergasted by Shefter's first ever "dumb" comments about MIA just flat out cutting Culpepper without giving him ever a legit shot.

That would be AWESOME. Another good thing about it is that our BACKUP Qb spot is going to be MUCH improved over 2006. :D

In that caswe we most likely aren't going for a qb in round 1. Unless they fall 2 us. I say miami gets landry, adams or brown n lastly ginn jr.

If that is what they said, they forgot one more thing, there is no way, no matter who Miami takes between David Carr and Trent Green, that Miami will not also take QB somewhere in the 1st 3 rounds to groom.

If everyone thinks ESPN sucks so much, why the hell do you all of you jump to pay any attention to what they say? Who cares what ESPN says.
