I have posted nothing on last week's game. I thought it was one of those games you just file and forget about. Overall, the O was terrible, the D was terrible, and we got lucky with a return that was far from special and most anyone could have made. The only benefit I see is as serving for a wake up call for players and coaches.

This week, I expect to see what we anticipated seeing in Tannehill, Suh, etc., and even Dallas playing as they should play. For me, this adds up to a BIG WIN!

A win is a win. There are no bonus points for style in the win/loss column. I'll take any win in the NFL we get and enjoy it.

You don't know football very well, do you?

Both gunners were destroyed, Vigil made a good block, Landry setup the blocking, and no penalties to ruin the play resulted in a very special special teams play. It was fantastic!

As well you should and I did as well. However, I took little of nothing from the overall play of O or D. I move on and expect MUCH better this week.

Yea knocking the punt return pretty much deflates this thread. It was a great return and a great setup . . . . LaMike James wasn't going to score a TD on that kick, I feel pretty comfortable stating that.

I mean I'll continue to say, it was week 1 on the road with many new pieces both on offense and defense . . . . a team whose starters probably got less play than the majority of the other teams in preseason and they clearly looked a bit rusty. Many Dolphin teams of years past lose that game.

I do expect better this week.

I was a little disappointed in our play as well SoBe but that return was a thing of beauty with everyone doing their job perfectly.

As the last poster said there were reasons for our rust on opening day. This week there are no excuses so get er done :brewskis:

We have all seen great returns with ankle breaking moves, broken tackles, and blazing speed. This was not one of them. Vigil made a good block and Landry went untouched for a TD.

If anyone has the clip we can discuss it further.

You do know the redskins scored 10 points?
