If you are one of the intelligent football fans who understands the development of young QB's please ignore this post.

Reading the bulk of the posts on this site about your QB situation, I cant help but laugh at the Dolphins orginization and their fans. I cant wait until you trade John Beck and start the season 0-10 again and decide that the reason the dolphins suck must be the quarterback. You will all be screaming for Henne to come in and save your pathetic team from going winless again. And after one whole week of prep time you will expect a rookie who hasnt taken a snap with the starters all season and was told multiple times he will not see the field his first year, no matter what! And because its not hard enough for a rookie to come in and fire up a bunch of pro athletes who have basically given up on the season and just want the season to be over, your coach will decide Henne's first start should come against one of the best defenses in the NFL, on the road, and in the worst playing conditions imaginable for a passing QB. Then you will give him what?... Three maybe four more games to prove he is good enough to keep. After all this and another season of flirting with being possibly the worst team in the history of the NFL. You will fire your entire coaching staff, bring in a whole new regime and system. And next year during camp because Henne will not look like Peyton Manning you will all be screaming for the next young QB to come in and start the whole process over again.

Makes perfect sense to me. After all I cant think of any of the great quarterbacks playing or have played in the NFL that performed pourly in there first 4-5 games. Oh wait I think I have that backwards, I can only think of one QB that played great his first few games. Dan Marino

By the way, Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl.

Wow how condescending and egotistical. You will have a wonderful and long career here my friend.

you know what im tired of people like you posting comments about how "funny" you think our fan base is. If we were to go 0-10 we wouldnt be screaming for Henne to come in and save us, we would be screaming for him to come in to add a little bit of a spark and so he can get valuable playing time JUST LIKE WE WERE LAST YEAR FOR BECK. And the reason why most people including our FO has given up on Beck, is not because we dont like him its because hes a 26 y/o 2nd year player that hasnt shown that he can perform well...YET. I dont think we should get rid of him but jesus the fact that a rookie is showing more promise than him is making me nervous. Bottom line just keep your mouth shut you dont know what your talking about.

Before you read this please understand that I dont think all Dolphin fans are this stupid, just the majority. If you are one of the intelligent football fans who understands the development of young QB's please ignore this post.

Hell...they don't have to come in and look like Peyton Manning or Dan Marino...

But they at least have to come in and look better than my 16 year old nephew would have.......no seriously...

BTW...I'll take 17 years of Marino and no superbowl over 2 years of Trent Dilfer and a superbowl.... and then back to square one again...

must be a Jets, Patsies or Bills fan who has nothing better to do with their life.

dont worry guys, we'll message this guy when we beat all 3 of those teams....twice.....this year.

Exactly. It would help if they came in and looked like they at least had a whiff of a clue what they were doing.

This OP is just another Beck apologist trying to bash everyone who calls Beck out and in the process bash everyone on the team. So while theyre at it in order to defend Beck they may as well bash Marino. Some phin fans these Beck apologists are. Im sure its probably NewPhinFan with a new name since he knows Beck is on his way out.
