Dolphins out to prove Daunte doubters wrong

If it has been posted already, sorry. I didn't find anything in my search.

From the article....

Drew Brees and Daunte Culpepper were presented to the Dolphins like bottles of wine from a sommelier. Nick Saban examined their appearance. Inspected the cork. Inhaled the aroma. Sipped. Swished. And swallowed. Brees was a bit rich for the Dolphins. Culpepper left a bad taste in Minnesota, but the Dolphins didn't notice the acidity.

Might there be a double entendre somewhere in the opening of this article?? Wierd way to start an article about football players, don't ya think??

He's probably just trying to be a little different. The rest of the article is pretty clear after that.

Good article, I missed it previously.

I have always felt Culpepper was superior to Brees.

Brees is more of a don't lose it for us QB, where Culpepper is an MVP caliber QB.

Evidently new Vikings coach Brad Childress hasn't been mincing words in meetings with his new players. "They look at me and there is just a little bit of, 'Who is this guy? What does he stand for?' " he said. "What I told them is, 'You didn't pick me, I picked you.' Because if I didn't take this job I was going down the road to take the job with the Green Bay Packers."
-- Minneapolis Star Tribune

This guy is in serious trouble if he is going into a new team with that attitude.
