“It’s going to be minimal,” offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said of Pouncey’s practice regimen.

“The good news is he’s such a pro. The good news is even now in the meetings, even though he’s not practicing, he’s got his bike out there, he hears the calls, he sees the calls, he gets the scripts, and he’s in the meetings. He’s been really, really good in the meetings.”

Pouncey will be ready for the Tour De France this summer

At this point we just need to realize we'll have to rely on Bushrod at RG and to see who fits best b/w Larsen and Asiata in the LG and C positions. Pouncey cannot be counted on for any reasonable length of time. Hopefully Steen continues to progress and will be a suitable backup option along the interior as well.

Can anyone outline the specifics of Pouncey's hip injury? Difficult to predict anything without knowing the location and type of problem.
Is is a labrum issue or something more serious like a avascular necrosis.

I have to believe another injury to pounce an his career should be over he's made enough money to not want to run his body into the ground any more when it clearly can't hold up. Sucks so much talent hindered by injury. Imo we definitely need to have a back up plan for when he goes down. I like the approach Gase is taking by bubblewrapping him to try an preserve him for game time because he's proven once he's on the field and healthy he can take the offense to another level. This season needs to get hereeeeeee
