:DI know this is wishful thinking but I am bias since I know Patrick personally. He played HS ball with my son in Bruceton and nothing would make me happier than him becoming a Dolphin. He is a great kid with great character not to mention it would make Bruceton,TN a Fin town.

With him playing with Zach, Porter, Crowder and Taylor the Defense would be dominating.

Realistically I know it probably won't happen but I can dream can't I?:D

Even though the phins don't need a LB at this moment...I would be pretty darn happy if we took Willis. Zach's still got a few years...even so, I believe Willis has a great shot at becoming a pro bowler. I truly believe he is the next Ray Lewis.

i will speak for the entire dolphin nation and say we will be delighted to have him and it would be our pleasure to have him on our team. i think that drafting willis at #9 is the very honorable think to do and i dont care about those damn brownie points that the rest around here get worked over about point on the scoreboard is all the points that matter ,besides we need a replacement for zach because you never know if a good player is available after zach is gone.:cooldude:

i like willis too but i dont see miami picking a first rounder that will be on the bench the whole year. there is no way he will play over thomas but maybe over crowder but i dont see us going that way. if we needed a LB instead of offense then yes i would take him

Trading Zach and drafting Willis @ 9. No one can be absolutely sold on that idea, but it certainly would keep the offseason babble going.

If he is the BPA, I like it. I like having pro-bowlers on our team. If he becomes a pro- bowler I don't care what round we get him.

Yeah, you can dream. And you definitely are. MIA is going Offense in the 1st round. Look for MIA to narrow the players to Tedd Ginn, Brady Quinn, and Levi Brown. I doubt that "all" 3 players are gone by the time MIA picks at #9.

If per se, all 3 were gone?..."then" maybe you look at Laron Landry.

the ledgiondary jimmy johnson said recently you should take willis if your defense is old and we do need a replacement for zach even if it is two years away.:cooldude:

Hate to say I told you so but..... Where would we be now Zach is gone and we would have Patrick Willis who led the league in tackles went to the PB and won Def rookie of the year. I hate when I'm right.

If you look back to my post, I said...I like him too but I doubt miami goes that way...I think we will go offense instead. LOL
