We could see both Jordan and Vigil in October, after required 6 games out. Dolphins now at 75-man limit. Must cut to 53 by Saturday.
 
I understand Jordan, but how is Vigil a non football injury? How did he get hurt? I thought Jordan would go to NFI and Vigil would go on PUP.

Chris Culliver will be placed on reserve PUP next week and will not count on 53. He also will be able to come back during the season.
 
Duh. The Jordan thing was pretty obvious. Dude hasn't had a single training session with us. Missed a year and came off surgery just a few weeks ago. He should be good to go after week 6.
 
Seems more to be stashing players on PUP rather than cut them. Wonder if their is a PUP roster limit per team.
 
PUP
A player who finishes the preseason still on the PUP list can then be placed on the regular-season PUP list. Such players must sit out the first six weeks of the regular season. At that point, teams have a five-week window in which to allow the player to begin practicing; from the day the player begins practicing, teams have an additional 21-day window in which to decide whether to activate the player to the 53-man roster. If either of those deadlines pass, the player must remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.

I was wondering that myself. There must be or else every team would have 10 or 12 guys on that list that they can bring in after week 6
