Dolphins will be releasing LT Branden Albert today, source says. It's Tunsil time there. Adds an intriguing option to the tackle market.

The Dolphins have released Branden Albert, source tells the Miami Herald.

Personally I would have waited on this move. They better not whiff on OLineman this go around.

:woot:

Let the Tunsil LT era begin.

Go get some ****ing guards, Miami.

Hopefully Tunsil will be our LT for years to come.

I don't like this move at all, we should have kept him for another year.

I don't like this move, but I completely understand it. I'll reserve judgement until I see what we do in FA

Has just had too many injuries of late. When healthy he was very good, but he's coming off a serious wrist injury and is making a lot this year.

Tunsil is much cheaper and the future at LT. We'll be fine at LT.

Why not wait until we sign the Cincy guard? Now he has leverage. Unless there's a wink wink agreement already.

Classy move by the Dolphins with a show of faith in Tunsil. This allows Albert to be a part of the start of free agency period to maximize his value. With a weak overall free agency class and draft, he should sign a solid deal.

It's out of respect to let him go now instead of waiting until we find a G. He can test the market, still a chance he can come back if price is right.

Like I said from the beginning if they were going to go ahead and do that they better not strike out in finding Guards or get ready to take a step back on offense again.

Albert couldn't stay healthy, may not be equipped to play LT anymore. College experience at G could help him. Miami saves $7.2M on the cap.

Branden Albert is true class, on and off the field. Whoever signs him is getting a good dude.

I agree. Albert was a warrior for the organization. These kinds of altruistic moves show our players and others in the league that when you play for Miami, you're appreciated.

Strategically, Grier must have OGs in free agency and the draft that he likes and are in play.
