Thanks Gonzo. Looks like Turner is the only one from the list who actually ended up a Dolphin.

Hope its a smoke screen. I am not knocking Duke, I really like the player. I think he is very similar to Miller and believe he goes in first 3 rounds and there is better value for the Fins there. I would not want a rb in the first 3 rounds unless its Todd Gurley, to me he is the only game changer worth a high pick for the Fins.

The last post indicates that they met with James and Fede as well, though not sure about where he got that info.

That being said, I don't think anybody can gain any real insight into what they are thinking outside of maybe positions of interest. Even then, it doesn't mean much. They interviewed a bunch of QBs and didn't draft any. Just interesting to look back.

As far as Duke Johnson I love the player and he has more upside than Miller but RB is not a big need however if he's still around come the third round he might be a BPA that would be hard to pass on.

There are so many great RBs in this draft I think we have to select one in round 3 or 4 to compliment Miller.

I like Connor Halliday and have watched a lot of his PAC-12 games. He's the ideal size (6'4", 200 lbs.) and has a good arm and can sling it. He had a really bad injury against USC, but he still led the nation in passing attempts. Coach Mike Leach loves QB's throwing the ball at Washington State, just like when he was at Texas Tech. He are some highlights...he might be a good pick between rounds 5-7.

Halliday with some seasoning could be real good.

I'm not saying that Hickey, Philbin, & Lazor should exclusively look at offensive players from Wazzu, TX Tech, Arizona, Auburn, Oregon, Az St, & Baylor... but... given the scheme those programs run the transition to the NFL might would be easier.

Heaven only knows that Miami could use some players who will make an instant impact

Miami running back Duke Johnson said he patterns his game after Eagles' LeSean McCoy. Johnson says Ravens one of his 18 combine meetings

Sounds like he has more than 1 meeting.

Just a reminder of what Duke brings to the table.

All time Canes leading rusher on a long list of great backs.

I'm totally okay with taking a qb in those rounds to groom as our backup.
