Dolphins’ playoff loss a case of simple mathematics

Nice read Hugo. I agree, our defense played tremendously. Our offense lost this game. Hard to win with 5 turnovers.

I can't agree anymore with your editorial as they are always very insightful. There were a lot of drives where the Dolphins were in Prime Position to win the game but they never did. Add the awful passes by Chad straight into three defenders and you have a receipe for disaster.

the worst part is that we were able to take advantage of those types of situations in the regular season but not in the playoffs.

Good read Hugo, that's the right perspective. Take out a handful of plays and we still have a chance to win. Good season for Fins.

Sadly, in the NFL, that's usually the difference between a good team and a true Super Bowl contender.

We're just not at that level yet (need a few more pieces and better QB play in the playoffs)

The loss to the Ravens was deflating and it can be difficult not to have an overblown gut reaction to it. It's good to read that some people can sit down and look at the positives.

The opportunities were there for both teams but the Ravens took them a lot better. Miami is one season removed from being 1-15. I think they did pretty amazingly overall.

The bottom line is even with those terrible TO's if we hand the ball off to Ginn on the reverse we're a defensive stop away from driving for the win.

Some more talent on this team and we're one step closer to the ultimate goal.

This team is clearly not built for playoff contention and it will take a few changes for us to get to this area.

Not being able to run the ball and turnovers is what hurt Miami in the game.Being able to run the ball would have taken alot of pressure of Pennington. The Dolphins have relied all year on Penington. The Dolphins need to be able to run the ball next year if they are going to have any shot at the playoffs or even winning a playoff game next year.
