Dolphins Possible Landing spot for Adrian Peterson, Fins in the market for work horse

Adrian Peterson will no doubt draw heavy interest from NFLteams if the Vikings decide to move on from him.
Where could he play in 2015? Which teams are the front-runners for Peterson?

Seems like the word in Indy is that the Dolphins are in the market for a RB. The Herald's Adam Beasley reported Miami was in the market for a RB yesterday, today both Bill Polian & Chris Simms have reiterated it. It is surprising with how well Miller played last year but apparently the Dolphins want a work horse and while Miller was good, the Dolphins couldn't rely on him in the 4th quarter. Polian said Fins need a work horse, Simms went as far as saying Miami would be a good destination for Peterson.

Also, Dave Hyde wrote in his blog Omar Kelly had heard word at the Senior Bowl of Gurley being linked to the Dolphins. Recently Frank Gore was linked to Miami & just yesterday the Dolphins interviewed Duke Johnson at the combine. Seems like Dolphins want themselves a running back.

Draft some fresh legs. Not some child beating has been.

It's not going to happen, so I don't know why they tease us with this. AP would be a great RB for us regardless of this off-field issues, but if he isn't returning to MN, then he'll go to Dallas (where he's from) at a discount.

I disagree with the sentiment that Miami couldn't depend on Miller in the 4th quarter. They just stopped giving him the ball.

In this division where there are at least a few cold and possible snow road games in December, plus potential playoff games, you need a work horse. As nice as miller was, he is still more of a change of pace and nice weather back. You couldn't get on his back in a playoff game.

Upgrade with AP or a stud is needed.

Problem with gurley is you won't reap the benefits of his talents early on.

Trade for Giovani Bernard, Zac Stacy, or draft a guy if they dont have faith in Miller.

Stacy and draft are self explanatory, but Bernard? Hue Jackson, jackass that he is, was unable to work out productive carries from 2 backs and leaned on Hill. Seeing as how Jackson is staying in Cincy unless he gets fired, smart money says he stays with Hill. Give the Bengals some sufficient value and pluck him off that roster.

Avoid child beating thieves who apparently feel they've done nothing wrong and are demanding their team beg for the privilege of paying him $100 million dollars. If All-Day-Minor-Orgy feels he can secure another $100 million contract with another team right before his 30th birthday, then by all means let him. Good luck to the team that secures his 2 productive seasons going forward.

Yes to AP, no to Gurley. We need to draft defense, WR, and oline.

I doubt that we can afford to pay top $ for Peterson, without some creative surgery to the roster. However, it looks like AP wants to exit Minneapolis and maybe the attraction of zero state taxes in Florida appeals to him as much as some warmth (and action) on South Beach. And with 4 or 5 baby mammas, it's safe to assume he knows what he wants.
After Lamar Miller's good season of 1100 odd yards, RB was hardly our biggest need. But when we hear Polian and others are coming out saying we are looking at RBs, it's probably true. AP is probably an extremely wealthy man, but his reputation has been scarred by the brutality revealed in the past year. This probably means a trade with the Vikings. Maybe they need a discontented expensive WR like Mike Wallace (Minnesota bid hard to get him 2 years ago). Hey we could even throw in couple of experienced LBs like Philip Wheeler and Dannell Ellerbe, to sweeten the deal.

I am the biggest Miller fan, but the guy needs some help too. I am not sleeping Damien Williams either.
