Coming up now. They're going to be talking "Fish" football.

Last 6 Super Bowl Winners have won the next season opener.

Talking with Greg Bedard:

i listened to what this guy says and he made some sense but i think that the secondary is not as big a concern as people want to make it out to be.
we upgraded the secondary. allen is going to do really well with us. i also think goodman will be a solid starter till travis comesback. i watch a lot of football like alot of others on this site, and i think the talent is worthy of playoff or SB. the best part about this team is that they have the right mental aspact of the game. they believe in the coach and that is what will make them special this year.

For those that missed it, Qs and As are shortened and paraphrased.

Q: Since hearing news of Ben's appendectomy, how are the dolphins prepared for Batch at QB?
A: Dolphins concentrating on the run and will try to make Batch beat them.

Q: What are we going to see from Batch that we wouldn't have seen from Ben?
A: Charlie will stay in the pocket more - doesn't produce on the run as well as Ben.

Q: How much concern about Daunte's knee lingers as we prepare for the 1st game?
A: A lot of concern. Didn't complete a pass over 20 yds in preseason. Plus zone blitz of Pittsburg may cause problems.

Q: What do we expect to see this season in terms of Ronnie Brown's production?
A: Ronnie's going to have to carry the load. Sammy's suspension probably hurts Special Teams more. A lot of people will see if Ronnie can carry the load for an entire season.

Q: How has the addition of Dom Capers changed the Dolphins defense?
A: Dom is one of the best in coming up with creative blitz packages. Good at analysing offensives to find weaknesses and knowing how to exploit them through the blitz. You'll see a lot of Bell coming from the dime and nickel packages tonight.

Q: What about the expections for the playoffs/SB this year.
A: Should have easily 8 wins. I've (Bedard) got them at 10-6. Should be in the wildcard chase and division chase until the last game against the pats.

Q: What's going to be acceptable for the Dolphins this year?
A: The playoffs. The dolphins are starving for the playoffs and need to win a playoff game.

Q: What would keep the Dophins from the playoffs?
A: The secondary. Daniels has been hurt and he's the only starter to return. Renaldo Hill is a small guy (but fast) who doesn't make a lot of plays and neither does Tillman - and Allen had a lot of trouble in NY. Lucky for the Dolphins that Ben is not playing tonight.

This is considered to be a monday night game right? Even though it's on Thursday... If so the Dolphins have a great record in Monday night games.
