Dolphins promote QB Logan Thomas from practice squad.

Would running some rinky dink college run option offense with a guy like Logan Thomas, Colin Kaepernick, and Terrell Pryor really be any worse than what we are now on offense?

Logan didnt run that style of offense in college..he actually ran a semi pro style offense in college at Va Tech...and he was very inconsistent there as well...If I remembered correctly they might have tried him out at WR or TE once because of his size and the fact he was hard to tackle....he does have a strong arm but no accuracy to speak of...

QB Logan Thomas says he picked Dolphins over Bengals because he thinks he can be No. 2 next year and "push" Tannehill

That Logan Thomas is a funny guy but he does have abetter chance being a number 2 here.
My money is on Logan Thomas will not be our number 2 next year. The guy is horrible

Still don't see why someone doesn't try the kid out at TE. Last I checked he was the top TE prospect out of high school.

He played wr as a sophmore in high school and was considered a te prospect the number two prospect that year.
It would be worth a shot but thats alot of developing and he would be ultra raw.

he was recruited as an athlete I thought...he did play a combo of WR, DB, and QB in high school....and he caught 1 pass at Tech for a td...

Liked Logan Thomas when he was on VT, but obviously his athleticism alone isn't going to get him by in the NFL. What's the knock on him regarding his game at this level? Havent seen much from the guy aside from a game when he was with the Cardinals.... Anyone know about this guy and his potential?

He has piss poor accuracy, which he had an issue with at Tech...doesn't make good decisions with the ball...

Athlete without a true definable position. Waste of a roster spot

So why do we care if Cincinatti grabs him from out practice squad... What do we think we're going to develop him into a good QB? LMFAO, that's a good one. Turn him into a receiver and be done with it

I have no clue what the reasoning behind keeping him was, because honestly he would have been available at the end of the season...so I dont know...unless they want to maybe use him in the coming weeks for something

A lot of these QBs aren't all that accurate, cam being fhe perfect example.

I have no delusions of making Thomas a pocket qb. If I was this team I'd let the kid run, and go find 2 back ups that can do the same, and let all of them run it. There's a lot of them available, let them play the way there legs were meant for them to play.

Tannehill has stopped developing. He is what he is IMO.

I think there's a good chance he could beat out Moore right now. Moore is garbage

So just run an option style offense? that wouldnt work in the NFL
