Dolphins pursuing Carson Palmer?

Why are you guys crying. Having a legit QB would be the first move if we want to get a Bill Cowher. Andrew Luck would be great, but who knows what Palmer would do with these weapons.

If I'm Miami I'm sticking firm on a 3rd rounder. Were already 0-3, Palmer's not worth a top 10 2nd round pick IMO.
 
It's the worst possible thing we could do so I fully expect this to happen. Let's blow a high draft pick so Palmer can come in and rescue us after we go 0-6. Better yet they'll wait until we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and then start Carson.
 
I feel we lost this game because Sparano was satisfied with a field goal, to give us a 6 point lead.

He played percentages, if we score a TD then we easily win this game.

Im my honest opinion, Sparano is not a good coach, for not wanting to put the game away, when we had the chance.

That is my honest opinion and I could be wrong.
 
I'm completely speculating here but is it possible they sign Palmer and fire Sparano during the bye? Maybe it's a move mike Nolan wants.

I'm sure it's neither of those but it's an idea.

I find it hard to believe that if the talks are this hot and heavy this no name reporter is the only outfit that has caught wind of it. It's got to be someone having some fun with fins fans. The updates are so quick you's expect a deal by tonight.
 
I'll take Palmer for a 5th or later pick. We need a real QB to tutor our 1st round pick next year.

If true, which I find hard to believe, Ireland and Sparano are pulling out all the stops to win this yr and save their jobs. I just hope Ross doesn't allow them to give away anything higher than a 4th or 5th rounder.

I would certainly like to see Palmer here for the right price, but QB play is not our biggest need.
