According to Rich Smith of AllSportsIntel, the Miami Dolphins have started talking to the Bengals about trading for the former Pro Bowl passer. He posted the following update on his Twitter:

Season is over. The problems with this team will NOT be solved by bringing Palmer in now. This is nothing more than a couple desperate idiots trying to save their jobs. We need to be embracing the Luck/Barkley era, not a Carson Palmer era.
