Dolphins pursuing Carson Palmer?

OH good, will he be brought in to challenge Columbo at RT or Carey at RG. Maybe he can cover a TE so he can replace Dansby, or maybe he can make a tackle and can replace Burnett. Maybe he can play nickel CB or backup Vontae Davis so Nolan Carroll doesn't have to play. Maybe Palmer can make chip shot field goals or even 51 yarders. maybe he can stop 99 yard pass plays as well or act as our scatback/receibing RB. I hope we do this, it would be great.

That would be ridiculous for about 4 reasons, not the least of which is what we'd need to pay him (is that why we're $8MM under cap?), and the high cost to obtain him. Even if it wasn't too little too late, an already triaged-Palmer wouldn't survive the onslaught of invading Visigoths through our Swiss Cheese first line of protection. Let's stand pat, go with the flow while retaining our chips to go all in next April if necessary or appropriate.

palmer would last like one game with this line and Im not sure he could do any better than henne has done coming in this late

A bleacher report story quoting a bogus Twitter account (allsportsintel)...

Time to lock this thread now. Its utter garbage.

done deal

Stupid if true..he wont take us to the playoffs and would hinder our draft
Sounds exactly like what this FO would do. **** up any chance we have at andrew luck. I fully expect carson to be here within 2 weeks now, furthermore, I would suspect that we will overcompensate for him.

This year is about lost. Why don't we lose next year and the next...while we are at it. I believe we need to trade up for Luck at all cost--give up 2 #1 picks and more. We can't afford to give up more picks for Palmer right now.

I would support the move, he is a proven pro bowler that was on a horrible team. With Luck you don't know what you are going to get. Not saying he is going to solve our problems b/c I don't think Henne has played bad but it would bring stability to the offense.
