It can be argued that Booker's productivity with the Dolphins (144 catches and 10 touchdowns in three seasons) doesn't warrant him earning $3.1 million in 2007. Being shopped as trade bait apparently isn't sitting well with Booker, who refused to address the subject at last weekend's minicamp.

At this point, the best-case scenario for the Dolphins with Allen is that he pushes for playing time as a fifth or sixth defensive back while also becoming a top special teams contributor.

My immediate thoughts turn to my complete lack of respect for any of the sports writers in S. FL.

Allen is starting his 2nd year.
We're not even in pads yet and this simpleton is already deeming that the "best case scenario" for Allen is 5th or 6th DB and special teams?

Pathetically ignorant.
He has no idea whatsoever what the upside of Allen may be at this point.

Sounds like he does not know too much about Cb's! Allen should be able to get into the nickleback role, and he should do well.

Are you expecting Allen to be the starter already? I dont think so and as of yet he is second teram on the depth cart so if you read Alex's statement he said 5th or 6th defensive back which would put him as the first back up to come in if any of our starters go down....to me thats really realilistic.

i'm sure i'm going to upset some people with this statment, but seeing the video of ronnie brown absolutly destroying him, did not sing ringing endorsment for me when we drafted him.. I hope hes a budding star, but in my opinion hes no Surtain.. who from they day we got him looked like he would be the man..

I think Marvez was being kind to this lump of ______. He sucked at Tenn. and still sucks, he is just a product of Saban SEC "nuthugging." The guy should be arrested for stealing his pay check. If he does start, it just illustrates how average our DBs are.
