Dolphins QB in waiting Chad Henne getting anxious?

Good for Henne. He is eager to get on the field and it sounds like he will work extra hard and try to unseat Pennington. Good to see he isn't OK with being a backup.

I like that attitude, Chad. No problem with it whatsoever. If you want the job, go get it!

he knows that Flacco couldn't even hold his jockstrap

I would be anxious too. quarterbacks are naturally ****y for the most part and it must be hard, especially for a young quarterback who knows that he's more physically talented than the starter. It must be hard for a young QB to admit that a quarterback with a far weaker arm is the better option since the veteran is much more prepared for the game. To admit that a veteran is more prepared for you must be tough.

Waiting and anxious are good emotions for a young backup QB? If he didnt feel that way it would be a bad thing. Now go and earn it Henne.

I don't believe that Henne is the future. They should trade him while there is a market. The draft is weak this year at QB. Very weak.

With Cassell gone Henne could possibly get us a high 2nd or a 1st packaged with another desirable player.

Send him back to Michigan for the 33rd pick. Sign a veteran backup and then extend Penny later.

He isn't the saviour you guys think he is. It's better for everyone that he moves on sooner than later.

It would be very sweet to pick in front of the Pats in the 2nd round.

:lol2:  :err:

I could see Henne starting a few games next season (2010). After watching and learning from Penny for two years, he should be ready to go by then. But he will have to earn it as others have said; something he will do, no doubt. Gotta love his attitude.
