No one is trading for Matt Moore, teams have been needing QBs all the time and no one has offered squat for Moore. Most we would get is a 7 th round pick anyway
I'd take the seventh for him.

I haven't seen that he didn't make himself available, seems like it would be a bad strategic moveAccording to reports on the resigning . . . . multiple teams expressed interest in Matt Moore but his intention was to work out a deal to remain in Miami and did not make himself available to other teams . . . . and they looked elsewhere.
I'm not saying he's some valued commodity . . . . but when you have a guy signed, a team gets hurt at QB, gets desperate and offers "more than a 7th (which is absolutely possible" . . . it just puts another option on the table.

I agree that he wanted to stay all along but if he doesn't make it look like he might leave, he doesn't get the maximum amount from the Dolphins.I think part of it is the team most likely expressed interest in retaining him, he assumed a deal would be worked out or he would get an offer during camp by someone else if he didn't.
He also seems to like being in Miami, maybe is one of those guys who actually has an understanding of his value (as a backup) and what better place to do just that then in sunny Miami. I think he has a family and constantly moving them around may be something he doesn't want to do...again, we have seen player make decisions that go beyond the football field, and this may be one.
Solid deal and he also becomes a tradeable asset later in the year if a team's QB goes down and they need a QB to come in.
Fair deal for both parties . . . Matt Moore has his priorities together.
I will sleep good at night knowing that Moore has Ryan's back.
