Dolphins receivers sounding off on new offense

Philbin/Sherman's offence wants to spread the ball around. yo get open, you get the ball.

Hartline pointing out that the main difference between the new staff and the old staff is just how "detail oriented" the new coaches are says a lot about the old coaches.

Marshall would have not done so well in this system IMHO. Not only did he have very suspect hands and poor route running ability but he was also a me first guy. Look at Green Bay. Most people would say Jennings is the go to guy, but if Nelson, Finley or any other player recieved the bulk of the throws at any time you would'nt hear a word out of him. The same holds true for any of the Packers weapons. I don't think this would be the case with Marshall. He has already complained after a game about not having the ball trown his way enough when he was the top targeted player in that week. He's also already thrown Henne and Moore under the bus and weather you believe he's right or not, I don't believe it's something Philbin believes in or wants out of a player on his team. I think the personality issues have as much to do with Philbin not wanting Marshall on the team as the playing issues do.

Brandon Marshall is one of the best route runners in the league....

I am excited to see what Marlon Moore can do with this offense. He's been a special teams beast and if he is ever going to shine as a wideout it has to start soon. Coming in to the same style of offense that he ran in college will help too.

Marshall was a waste. We won't miss that over rated over hyped loser.
He never stepped up and did anything real except leave big plays on the field.
He won't be missed.

Forgot to mention he ran like he was on ice skates. At least after the catch, but more than likely he will go light it up in Chicago.

I'm not sure if that was a joke. Even Marshall last season said that he does not run good routes and he does not have good hands.

B Marshall would be a great playground WR, he would just go out and semi make it up on his own and the QB would just look to throw the ball to him.

screw Brandon Marshall. We made him the highest paid WR in the NFL. A year later he's asking to be traded. I hope he fails from here on out.

I only hope they can play well enough to cover the loss of Marshall

Marshall is big and he was good in Denver. When he was here, he dropped easy TD's and easy first downs. It wont take much to cover the loss of Marshall. His potential is great but his play on the field was not.

It must say something about the receivers we already have on the team that so little was done in the draft to makeover that part of the roster. We must trust the coaching staff (as we are doing with the choice of which QB they truly wanted) to know that there are gems already here we've yet to discover. We already know the early estimates are that Bess and Hartlline should make fine WCO receivers. But do Wallace, Gates, Hogan, Moore or Pruitt also have potential in this kind of scheme? Apparently Mike Sherman thinks so.
