I don't know, Ireland didn't sound to excited when he was asked if anyone contacted him about trading the pick. In fact it sounded to me like he was making up the answer.

reports Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland and the team do not feel comfortable with the talent in this year's draft at offensive tackle, cornerback, receiver and nose tackle

That's not what he said, he said those are areas where the teams needs to add players/talent....he never made mention of the talent level available in this year's draft at those positions.

Whoever this writer is....he needs to take a reading class.

here's what kelly wrote in the sun-sentinel article:

Ireland, the Dolphins' new general manager, said the organization has fielded a couple of trade offers for the top selection in the draft, and said he expects trade talks to ratchet up closer to next Saturday's draft.
how is he moronically falling for a smoke screen by reporting what ireland said?

As far as needs, Ireland said there are still a couple of holes, and pointed out that the Dolphins don't feel comfortable with the talent at offensive tackle, cornerback, receiver and nose tackle.
if you read the article, it's pretty clear kelly's writing about team needs, not the available talent at those positions in the draft.

so how is omar kelly being a moron exactly? the kffl wire reporter is, if anything.

EVERYONE will be there with the first pick overall.

Not everyone. The level of interest from GMs and coaches wasn't what I'd hoped for so I'm returning to college for a 22nd year.

But I fully expect to go in the top 7-10 in the '09 draft...

if this is not the most sarcastic board on the net then I don't know which one is....lol nobody can slip for 1 single post here without hearing about it....lol

Ozzy rules!!

I just wonder if KC has already contacted us because they really really want J Long. They also need a QB. I wonder if we could switch spots with them at both 1 and 32 and get a botload of picks this year and next. Then we would be in front of the Jets and Pats picking playing major spoiler.
