Didn't realize that. I think a lot of that has to do with the success of the running game. Griese normally only threw the ball 12 - 15 times a game. With the 3 headed beast there was never a need.

That's about the number of pass attempts Russell Wilson used to make with Beast Mode behind him over a 4 game stretch...actually for the season. Back when Marshawn was there he would attempt about 27-28 passes a game and they would win.
