Sam Madison (31 INT'S) is 4 picks short of the franchise record for career interceptions. The record is currently held by S Jake Scott who compiled 35 picks in his 5 year tenure with the dolphins(1970-1975).

Olindo Mare is adding to his current franchise record for most points. Mare added 108 points in 2005 for a career total of 948 points. Mare should break 1,000 this coming season if he is retained by the dolphins.

With 92 Career Sacks Kevin carter is just 8 short of joining the 100 sack club. With 6 sacks last year kevin might be able to break the barrier in the coming 2006 season. Kevin has been in the league for 11 years.

Jason Taylor Has surpassed Kevin Carter for most career sacks by the smallest margin. His 12 sacks in 2005 jumped his career number up to 92.5. Beating Out kevin by 1/2 of a sack. Jason has been in the league for 9 years.

Jake Scott had 35 in 5 years? that is 7 a year in 14 game seasons... that is pretty amazing, too bad he had a falling out with the team...

He really must have had a nose for the ball. They didn't exactly throw it 40 times a game either. And the best part is his number. :dolphins:

Didn't he have his jersey retired or something?

thanks man:cooldude:

70 - 75 is 6 seasons. I know I am being anal, but the averages will go down. Also, think that he got to play against Buffalo 2X per year in a decade where they did not beat us.:sidelol:

i hope JT gets 20 next year. he is such a force. If he's hot from the opening day it could happen.

JT Scaring Opposing QB's for 9 years

Jake Scott was an amazing player, a total ballhawk...always around the football. Look what one of his coaches said...

"Former Georgia coach Vince Dooley says he never coached a better athlete, Herschel Walker included."
