Dolphins’ Reggie Bush is NFL’s worst rated tailback

When a guy is graded on EVERY SINGLE PLAY of EVERY SINGLE GAME, how can you dismiss that? Statistics can be dismissed, but having every single play graded.. how is it possible to dismiss this? BTW, we can't show you the list..for one because it's another site, and as far as I know, you're not supposed to talk about it, even when it was free. Now that it costs money, we can't link anyway. I'll tell you why Reggie is rated how he has.. He's rated as the second worst runner, the worst blocker, and negative in the passing game this year (these are rated by 25% qualifying PT). Last year he was 30th in the running game, 25th in the pass, and 41st in blocking among 58 qualified RB's. Two years ago he was 4th in the pass, 34th as a runner, and 32nd as a blocker. SO, REGGIE BUSH, was never rated as the 12 best runner. He was utilized correctly. I always come back to this site, and realize everyone is an extreme fanboy/fairweather fan/extremely negative...and then leave. Only came on here to see Marshall's comments and seen a PFF topic..

Thanks for clarifying. Very helpful context

Sorry, you have an Oedipus complex. Sounds like you could add to help with the "extreme fanbody/fairweather fan/extremely negative" atmosphere.

Better to help educate one post at a time, than to take pot-shots and leave....just saying

Goes both ways my good friend.

Recovering from my second Microfracture surgery Since March. Too much time in here

We are talking about LegLand for vacation next summer. Would love to meet up for Barley pops if it pans out.
The Karl Strauss Brewery and Restaurant is right outside the gates. :woot:Hopefully by then we can have some Miami Dolphin football to talk about again.

Haha?.. Your welcome.. Thanks for the laugh?.. Trying to change a predominately unwilling-to-change fanbase is near impossible, and I'd rather keep my efforts to change things that mean a little more.

Well, one thing I have noticed, facts tend to screw people warped negativity up. Nothing like cut and paste...or whatever to help clarify what's going on.

I was having a REALLY tough time believing Bush was a top 15 RB. Thanks for clarifying exactly how that #12 came about. I knew he had a gazillion or so receptions out of the backfield 2 years ago. Guess that's what inflated his number

EDIT: You should enjoy the fun a little more often, where else can you have this much internetz fun for free???

I meant with the Oedipus thing.. hoping it was a joke of sorts.. Being a 34th rated runner is the stat they should use in describing his running ability, but no problem. I just haven't learned anything about..anything in so long from trying to argue with people. When I attempted to educate people.. they ignore it, they'd rather just keep up flame wars, so.. maybe I'll come on a little more, but not too often haha

He hasn't been used very well but I think it's important to note that the guy just isn't very good, either. In the same role Bush was used in, Darren Sproles has been undoubtedly better than Bush ever was in New Orleans.

b/t the tackles i agree...everyone knows that but these clowns...i do not agree however that the guy can't be a weapon if used properly...we continue to use him like any run of the mill running back pretty much in the run and passing game...and thats not playin to reggie bush's strengths...i mean really you sign the guy to use him like this...yeah no doubt its been a waste...of money and time

and you got sparanos dumb *** during the preseason talkin all that nonsense about daniel thomas isn't ready yet in pass pro when i could tell just watching him get reps b/t the tackles in the preseason he was the only damn back we had on the roster with any damn inside talent...i'm just so sick of these dopes i can't stand it...same dumb **** i heard when cam wake was inactive weeks 1 and 2 of the 09 season when in the preseason the damn kid showed he was the best pass rusher on this team and the best talent yet sparano rolled out with the "he's not ready to defend the run yet" bull**** that so many clowns on this board ate up like it was damn gospel...meanwhile matt ryan and peyton manning those 2 weeks had time to make something out of oragami before they released the ball...

this season week 1 thomas is inactive with a hammy they give reggie bush all the short yardage and goalline carries minus one to lex hilliard and yet three weeks later at san diego same scenario thomas inactive again they go to lex hilliard almost exclusively on the goalline...why the hell don't you know your personnel enough week damn 1 to use hilliard in those scenarios instead of trying to make reggie bush something he's not...dammit all...they got no damn clue...daboll sparano all of em

The guy runs behind Columbo. That would have ruined Walter Payten. That guy kills us on every play of every game. We should of just left Carey at R.T. and brought in Gurode or one of the GOOD free agents but our Head Coach, o-line master has to tinker with the line every 5 minutes. How's the line supposed to gel? This group does almost nothing right.

It really killed Daniel Thomas and his roughly 5 YPC to run behind the same line.

thomas and bush would be a very good 1-2 punch but...........................that would be too hard for meathead to decipher. 1 step at a time boys.
