Just to put info out there, not that it means much:

The Dolphins used “or” in a few places on the depth chart, such as the starting running back - with head coach Adam Gase joking last week he did that “just to be an a**hole.” To reflect that, both players are listed in the higher slot on the depth chart, then that spot is blank in the lower of the slots. Once a position has been exhausted of players, “None” is listed.

I think Smith will make it at OT. Not so sure about Aisata tho.
Also, I'm almost positive we'll carry 9 D-linemen

The others I pretty much agree with.

Yeah...I was torn on Smith but he has been working at LT (RT last year). I like him and don't want to lose him. Asiata may lose out due to Larsen's versatility. Would be nice to see him bring it. Brendel has been injured and Sterup could be out in the same fashion as Asiata in that Young can play both sides. Sterup is 6'-9" tall.....WOW.

Top 7 right now include Young and Larsen so if you keep two more it's likely one tackle and one guard/center. Those top 7 could be the active guys on Sunday.

How much dead money to cut Branch? You can't have too many pass rushers (not that he's a great one).

Mike Gesicki 5th team TE. Durham Smythe 6th team.

That's funny considering both are locks to be on the roster.

Can't read too much in to the roster. Most coaches defer to vets on the initial roster. And any time there's a 'yet to be determined,' again, the senior vet wins. Not always, but quite common. I'll pay more attention to the roster for PS game 4.

I like what I'm hearing about Jerome Baker. Yes, he is undersized but he is the new hybrid backer that several teams are going to...with some pretty good success. Baker is 6'1 229 and already moved ahead of Anthony....at least for now.

Deion Jones 6'1 222 MLB
Shaq Thompson 6'0 228 SLB
Telvin Smith 6'3 218 WLB
Darron Lee 6'1 232 ILB 3-4
Reuben Foster 6'0 229 MLB

Dolphin coaches always say that they don't have a strong or weak backer and that they are just OLB's that are asked to do the same things.

I like it. Sterup, Eric smith, and Asiata all competing for those final o line spots. And one maybe competing for final spot on the 53 even.

If there’s surprise cuts I’d say Anthony and lippett would be the two.

Anthony is our real time Dallas Thomas. That guy will get you beat
