Dolphins release Kendall Fuller and Durham Smythe

This was s rough year for Mostert with costly fumbles in back-to-back games against Arizona and Buffalo.

But, the prior year was one of the best running back seasons we've seen in Miami from Mostert.

Yes, time to move on. But always appreciated his effort and running style.

Unless there are more to the injury concerns that we don't know about, releasing Fuller to save $2.8M doesn't seem like the right call to me. Releasing Smythe is all well and good until it leads to Julian Hill getting more snaps.

I get Smythe for the savings and because he had a terrible 2024 season…… we HAD to move on from him. Fuller is a shocker at those savings. I hope we are planning to sign a CB because if the plan is to take one at 13 there are going to be a lot of pissed off people here, self included!

(The above is assuming Will Johnson isn’t within reach — that’s different)

The plan at CB2 cannot be Cam Smith.

Smythe had 7 catches for 53 yards and countless drops last year.

Anyways DJ says we are drafting Warren so all good.
