Add that to just a little blocking in pass protection to fortify the OL and we could be onto something.

I’m not entirely sure.

I think we’re gonna see some special things in his utilization.
 
I’m too lazy to find it but a while ago, the media asked a question (paraphrasing) about not having a pass catching TE and McD said incorporating TEs into a larger role was his game plan for year 3.

I thought it was just lip service but there may be something to it.

So I watched zero preseason and didn’t a lot of people here say he was doing good? I mean, obviously he sucked… but weren’t people slotting him to start?

We were slotting him to start based on his competition. Let's not forget that this guy couldn't beat out Eich to start and lost his roster spot to Cotten. And that was after we spent free agent dollars on him. How bad did he have to be for that to happen to him? I think pretty bad.

Completely different schemes, though. I seriously doubt he will be a starter there.
