Dolphins Release Patterson...

That sucks, hopefully he can come back at a cheaper price. Prepare for big things to happen, we must have needed the room for something. Fun times ahead, hopefully!

please don't spend this money stupid...agree with this move...now just cut matt moore

DAMN I liked him, when he was on the field our D made plays, he made plays, loved him and Grimes together, to bad he couldn't stay on the field.....I hope we can resign him for lesser money and get him healthy.....

of the moves that we have actually made ie signing grimes and cutting patterson i am full on board...whether or not that will be the case in oh 72 hours from now is another thing however...some of the names i'm hearing scare the hells out of me

don't screw this up miami...spend wisely...please

The only person i see that is a huge fish we could go after is Byrd. I don't hate Clemons but that Pittsburgh game when he was the last person in between Sanders and a TD all I could do is cover my eyes and that is an antithesis of his play here not bad but not great either.

The Dolphins will enter free agency tomorrow with some $40 million in available space.

Omar Kelly ‏@OmarKelly 52s

The release of Dimitri Patterson now puts the #Dolphins at $40,681,273 in cap space. Only Oakland, Jacksonville & Cleveland have more

WOW and then we are giving 28% of that to one position on the O line that needs 4 new starters......not feeling that Albert signing if its for 11 million

Wish he was healthier and less expensive. He was a great player when active.

^^This maybe reason enough for another team to give him a shot! Like, most here I'm in agreement that the guy can play when healthy. But, his track record almost guarantees that he won't even make it through half-a-season.

You mean you don't like the idea of paying an often injured middle of the pack left tackle top pay??

I'm expecting the worse to come this free agency....

It was going to be a high price either way no matter who it was.

Starting to think the Byrd to Miami might be more than a smokescreen now.

If you referring to Albert I'm with you. I wasn't a fan of the move last season and though more desperate I'm still not a fan!

Now, if only we could do something about that R.Jones fella! Gosh, what a disappointment.
