When I saw the thread headline, I thought "old news" but then I read it again and I thought maybe he got caught having a go at himself in public. But no, it was just old news.
 
I could see Ross demanding a run at a fmr Jet in Revis.

Otherwise, if there was a possibility of bringing him back, the better move would have been to wait until after the first wave or 2 of FA when other teams have already spent their $$$. Then cut him and he would have virtually no where else to go and would be more open to re-signing with the Dolphins. Shrewd, yeah; but there's a business side to this as well. As I said, only IF the Dolphins MIGHT be considering Patterson later at a lesser cost.

even with the first wave of FA's, patterson will be cheaper...so it really doesn't matter.
 
Patterson played well in the few games he played in but looking at his mediocre career and constant injuries , that money would be smarter elsewhere.
Hell u don't ever know what you are getting. If he is smart he will resign cheaper because he had his best success here
