Dolphins release Rosario

if you think using clay right is lining him up in line as a te and asking him to run nfl te routes etc as raw as he is well you got another thing coming for ya

he's gonna be in the flats as a pass receiver and underneath running very vanilla check down type stuff and lined up in the backfield as a dive blocker...not a blow guys up person at all...

provided he ever gets active...he's years away from if ever making a real every down impact...hate to break it to ya

every year we annoint a guy who has done anything to be some awesome player and also by the way how does moore or even wallace really do anything for our team. hell people are acting like gates should come in and dominate from day one

gates does need to be on the field more...we need that speed to help keep the safeties deep and allow room for marshall and bess etc to work underneath not to mention to help our non existent running game...not just to bring him on in max protect single wr sets and send him into single high safety coverage where the only responsibility the safety has on the play as a receiver is the single wr streaking down the field on the sideline...we need to get him on in 3 wr sets etc...give him some of hartlines reps

I said that about Clay from when everyone started going crazy over him. Im not saying he has no potential or he will never be good, but the reality is he was a late pick and probably wont contribute much this year or maybe even next. He, like almost every other late pick, is a developmental project. No sense expecting much soon.

as for clay i think if he does get active and play your gonna see him in a lot of package specific type sets...although there may be a wrinkle here or there where we flex him out a little and run some vanilla stuff with him primarily early at least lined up as an offset i fullback dive blocking and flowing into the flats and underneath

he does have some very good hands for his size...but he's also a tweener in so many ways...not big enough to be a every down in line te not a good enough lead blocker to be a full back...an h back...in the back field and maybe flexed out on occasion...don't ask him to block guys off the edge in line by himself...it won't happen...he'll get destroyed up front right now at least

What?? Im going to shoot myself in the face on the way off of the ledge... this phucking regime is retarted.

They must think a lot of Clay's ability being they cut Polite and started the year with 2 tightends.

Who knows if he ever sees the field or is good but the kid put up rediculous numbers in college and can play FB , RB & TE so I hope he shows up soon.

this front office is a joke, we sign a seem threat athletic TE and release him and don't even use him at all, why do we keep guys like mastrud on the roster who don't contribute at all!!! I cant wait for this regime to be gone!!!

It's all about the corn baby. Whoever eats the most, stays

I have little confidence this coaching staff would ever be creative enough to use Clay with any effectiveness. He's Chris Cooley H back type that should be used for spreading the field and creating mismatches. He should be used in motion and look for holes in space. Could see teams struggle to defend a line up if we had Thomas, Bush and Clay on the field with Marshall and Gates. Really only will help in the passing game as he's nothing more than a shield blocker with poor technique.

Honestly I'm betting he won't be on the team next year if we have this regime in town. What we really need is another lineman cut from the Cowboys....better yet we can slide Columbo over to TE. That way we can really slow the game down and use the clock.

Seems like they are purposely trying to fail at this point. The hell...
