Dolphins’ Ross blows another possible big catch

This was all very predictable, and the media response is as well.
 
Ross did the right thing by not giving Fisher final say on personnel. Jason Cole has been a Dolphin hater for years. You can't believe anything he writes about the Fins.
 
come on. big catch? his name maybe, but his record says otherwise
 
Who cares. Winning cures all. If we win next year they will change their tune and pretend they never had this stance. If we don't win they will pile on. Their opinion has not one iota of an effect on next season.
 
If reeling in a flounder tainted by mercury is considered "a big catch" then maybe he's right.
 
You guys are very lucky to have missed out on this 'big catch'. Fisher sucks. It's the Rams who got played.
 
Cole has been saying all the time we should hire a young coach. He cannot have it both ways...
 
The guy got outcoached by Wannstedt on numerous occasions, had 6 winning years in 17 seasons at the helm, and had a thick mustache.

I may not be able to fall asleep tonight thinking about this lost opportunity.
 
It's a win/lose type of deal. Fisher was overrated and never won anything during his 16 years in Houston/Tennessee. However Jeff Ireland hasn't been overly impressive during his time here with the Dolphins. Plus his reputation around the league doesn't seem to be very positive. The fact that Ross wants to stick with him no matter what is just going to hurt the Team's chances of finding a good Head Coach.
