Dolphins | Russell competing with K. Campbell

if marcus keeps his progress coming, he should be a lock to the team, because of the myriad of ways that his talents can/will be used. He could begin to be a nightmare for D-Cordinators.

Marcus Vick is in no way a lock to make this team. There are 1-2 roster spots for Welker, Campbell, Russell, Gibson, Aromashadu, Murphy, and Vick. The only thing Vick has on the other 6 guys is that he occasionally threw the ball in college when he wasn't suspended for stupidity.

Yea according to the Sun-Sentinel in this mornings paper.

Chambers and Bookers are definite locks.

Welker and Hagan are pretty much in

Vick is the next closest to being a sure thing because of his versatility (If he can stay out of trouble)

Leaving Russell and Campbell to fight it out.

Armo is almost definetly destined for the PS to get better seasoned. Murphy looks to be auditioning for another team and Gibson probably will be the odd man out. Not saying I'm agreeing with this, but thats the summary of the article.

Would Vick get so much attention if his name wasnt vick? i dont get all the talk for a guy who isnt even going to start.

Is name coulda have been Smith for all we care, he still was projected to be a first rounder if he kept his head on. And to get a guy with that kind of talent "undrafted" and also the way he has impressed in practice, I mean u can't ignore that. The kid has been extremely responsive to everybody and has been impressive on the field . . .trust me if he would have been dogging it out there he would have been cut, but he is doing exactly what he needs to do to turn himself around . . thats why he gets props from me.
