The Miami Herald reports Miami Dolphins CB Shirdonya Mitchell (knee) is participating in his first extensive drills since the 2005 season. Mitchell said, "'My knee is about 95 percent. It's probably going to be that way for a while. It's OK, but it probably won't be where I want for a while." Mitchell has been told it usually takes two years to fully recover from the type of injury he sustained while working out for scouts before the 2005 NFL Draft.

Me too. I had heard Scott was interesting in playing for the Fins last preseason. But I am glad to hear S. Mitchell is a cornerback instead.

A year, maybe two. Looks like our CB's (in non-depth chart order) will be Will Allen, Will Poole, Travis Daniels, Eddie Jackson, Shirdonya Mitchell, and Andre Goodman.
