Dolphins | Saban still a fan of T. Daniels

David J. Neal, of The Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban is still a fan of CB Travis Daniels, who started 14 games as a rookie. Saban said, "For a first-year player that started just about the entire season, Travis certainly didn't have a perfect season, but I think relatively speaking, he had an outstanding year. He didn't give up a whole lot of plays. He made a lot of plays, and he never went through one of those swoons that young players sometimes go through, where they play pretty well and then all of a sudden, they can't get it right."

T.Daniels has really been an after thought for me lately i dunno why.....
I have a feeling he's really gunna grab my attention this year tho. I'm starten to think he can become one of the better overall corners in the NFL now actually.

Travis Daniels is amazing!! Im happy we have him!! he will be stellar for years to come!!

Will Poole TRavis Daniels JAson Allen and Yeremiah BEll will be the best Secondary for years to come

I see Daniels the #2 as the season opens. People are jumping the gun saying that Poole is the #2 in my opinion.

We should draft a SS next year in like the 2nd round. Then we could have Poole, Daniels, Allen, and that 2nd rounder.:dolphins:

travis daniels is the man...i think he will be a much better player this season and will contribute much more to the secondary....ive always been a big fan of daniels especially last season when i met him at a heat/lakers game, one of the coolest guys ive met

i love travis daniels...since the first time i saw em hit the field..i knew he was something big..hopefully he does start diz year and i gurantee hes gonna turn some heads..when is it that u get a fourth rounder to start the whole year at corner and play solidly..only get bombed like what 2 or three times and tackle..cuz i dont know if ya'll seen em but my boii can flat out hit

Daniels was great last year as a rookie hes gona be a top corner in the league in the years to come.

why is it that last year..we had no idea who the hell to put next to sam madison but diz year we have so0o much potential in goodman & daniels and obviously poole..i dont think its bad too have too much talent at corner but god damn it..if we could have had goodman last year instead of garbage *** reggie howard i think we could have possibly won or tied the record for the division with the pats lol

ahhhh i think poole should be the starter over daniels...but seeing that out coach coached him in college....i think nick is playing favorites here and would play daniels no matter what....poole is the better DB....and if anyone remmebers the game 2 years ago against the bengals...they will know why.

If Poole is in fact better he will just have to get to a 100%, learn the schemes well and prove it, if he is in fact better, he will beat either Allen or Daniels...
