In an article off NFL.com they have a peice on who could knock the patriots out of the playoffs. They then break down the AFC teams.

Article http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8793711

Heres what they say about the fins:
Miami: Nick Saban will get it together. I have been impressed with what I've seen from them this offseason. I think from midseason on, they can be a real pain for the opposition.

Heres what they say about the browns:
Cleveland: They remind me of the Dolphins, though they might get it together quicker. I like Trent Dilfer a lot as a player and a leader. He's tough, he's a good teammate and he can throw the football. Dilfer has always been underrated, and he gets absolutely no respect. He has won a Super Bowl, and he's played well this preseason.

Last time i checked we were re-building for the future, while still staying competative. Last time i checked we were not holding 25 million in dead cap space. Now i will give it that there are some simialrities:
Starting journeymen QB
New defensive minded coach
Same record last year
But saying that the browns will get it together quicker than us???
I am at a loss for words, so i'll leave it to you guys....

After Sunday, we will see what those reporters will say..

Till now, we are still unproven and let's hope Ferotte is on target Sunday and Madison able to tackle to prevent the long runs and we will shut down the critics.

One major difference...they have a starting journeyman QB...we have an over-the-hill, never-has-been, lets-you-down-in-crunch-time QB...

VEry similar to the Browns, except for one thing. Miami has a lot more talent. They have a good rb group, but Rickyy, and Ronnie is a great group. Their qb is no different than ours. They have a rookie Braylon Edwards (unproven) and then who. They have a talented TE, oh wait he's injured for the whole season, what has he played two games in two season now? Miami is stacked at very talented players at WR/TE, great depth. Miami also has a better D. They probably have a better o-line, but their o-line isn't great like Indy's or Pittsburghs' or anything, Miami's is a work in progress, but already i this short time it's better than last year's. I don't really see how they are similar, the only reason they may have similay recoerds is because the division they are in. AFC North will be tough, but the East will be a beast. Miami's has the 2nd toughest schedule other than N.E

Dilfer is better than Gus.

Everything else I agree with.

  ...I hope were not that bad!!

...We both have bad OL's..but we have a better unit than Cleveland in every aspect besides QB....Our Defense from top to bottom is better in every aspect!!

..All in all it's not the first DUMB article I have read this year.

I hate to say this but some of you guys are not very realistic. I am a Dolphin fan first and a Browns fan second and to tell you the truth Cleveland has looked alot better this pre season. Dilfer has looked good and Frye has looked just as good. Their running game of Green and Droughns has looked impressive. Their o line much better than last year and the WR's could be very good this season. Now their D line needs work as does their linebackers and their secondary is a bit beat up but still they are a much better team than last year. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying Miami isn't a better team this year than last and I'm not saying Cleveland will win more games this year but in my opinion Cleveland is a better team right now.

The fins are not rebuilding. how do i know?? just look at your D-Line FA signings. old aging players who only have 1 or 2 more years left. now you did draft a good DE, and thats a start, but if you really wanted to rebuild, the fins would have traded down and picked up a extra first day draft picks.

the browns have a better QB.... that must be killing you.

totally agree

Until we prove the critics wrong by winning some games we will continue to be lumped together with the other losers fromlast year. What most critics fail to realize is that the Dolphins actually have a load of talented players. Other teams, like the browns, are weak in many areas. We are weak only in QB and O-Line, and the O-Line is quickly improving. I think people will stop lumping us together with the Browns by mid season.

There only saying that because they have more faith in Dilfer getting the offense together before Frerotte gets Dolphins offense together plus I think there saying this because we just solved are quarterback controversy and they have had the same man all during there camps and stuff. Me personally I think we have a better D and more talent and potential on offense but there D is going to be solid and there offense will be a little above-average at first until everyone is on the same page over there but even then there offense will be average at best.
