If Flores is worth his weight on Defense (even as HC), he might be able along with the DC, to get the most from the defense to at the very least, be more consistent.

At QB, both Rosen and Fitz can be at least solid, and with both being very smart, and the talent at receiver, that could work in Miami's favor.

Our main problem last 18 yr. Lack off big time qb..that can get us to next level...the other problems can be fix.. one thing about NFl. Somebody going be sleeper team this yr.

A big time QB would NOT have moved the needle enough to overcome the inept way this team has been managed IMO

BUT … they haven't been fixed … so if the Dolphins can't seem to land a "big time QB" can they at least work on the other problems until we get a QB that, at least, gets it? I mean this is still a team game so how about a coaching staff that can put together a group of linemen that can block their butts off so we can start improving the other offensive issues... if there are really that many issues after the line is solid

we been working on other problem last 18 yr. it got us to 6 to 8win and wild card every blue moon. the reason why the other team are better than dolphins because they got better qb who can handle pressure. we can not fix every position on this team. Team that fix qb spot in afc east bills, jets or dolphins will replace N.E.

so are you saying that despite the lack of a solid coaching staff and seemingly a disconnect in the front office..... poor evaluation of players drafted with the added bonus of trading away draft picks to move up for a couple of these misfits….schemes that either don't fit the players or that the coaches can't teach.... the inability to piece together an offensive line... bad contracts that over paid players who didn't/couldn't make the difference and crippled our salary cap … letting key players leave in free agency because the team didn't lock them up before free agency or the coach decided they were ahead case …

you believe that even with all these things going on for years (you mentioned 18 years) that if we had a QB he could overcome these issues and give us a winning team? ….

I believe we need and have needed a QB for quite some time but if you think any QB is good enough to overcome the issues this team has had …. we just have to agree to disagree

Well what I am saying.. i understand what u are saying. We should of been to playoff more if we had better qb last 18 yr. I never said SB. That different story..
 
Just like right now. We got new coach if he dont find qb. We will be looking for our next coach in 3 to 4 yr. The main reason these coach are getting fired in Miami because u domt have qb keep them from getting fired. Any coach that dont have qb in this time will get fired.
 
Well, the way I see it there are two possibilities...

and they BOTH look good for the dolphins.

If the games are NOT fixed, football is a competitive sport, every team has a CHANCE to win it all EVERY YEAR.

If the games ARE fixed, and it is all based on making money...

Then EVERY team has a chance also, it just won't be based on the actual talent & competition on the field.

The only people who believe that odds, or media speculation factor into competitive sports are folks who can't think for themselves,

or simply don't understand competition & sports in any simple, basic way. ;)
 
If we can get the coaches and players on the same page, develop the younger players and end the year with a good foundation to build on then next season's record doesn't bother me too much. Rosen looking like a franchise QB would be a lovely bonus as well!
 
I bet $50 at 125-1 in a Mississippi sports book in February. i don't expect anything other than a framed piece of paper.
 
But it was a bet at the Hard Rock Casino for a game played in Hard Rock Stadium, by a team that plays its games in Hard Rock ..... so it has that going for it.
