After we rocked the Pats, there was talk of the Dynasty being over. And one could argue that it was the Dolphins' whooping that helped to right the ship in New England so early on.

After the Raiders beat down, Dennis Allen got fired.

After the Bears big win, the entire locker room imploded.

And after the Chargers shutout, the team is in turmoil and most fans are already looking towards next season.

Can't wait to see how Detroit handles the whooping that's upcoming :)

Yeah, it's funny to watch the media spin it about how the other team played poorly and not how Miami played well. The Dolphins did all they could to leave the media without that crutch this time. Although, Sunday Night In America still had a soundbite from Philip Rivers after the highlights. I don't think I've seen a soundbite from a Dolphins player all season on that show, win or lose.

I should clarify, I don't really give a crap what the media thinks, I just think it's funny about how they spin things sometimes. It's like I told my wife who wanted to watch a different show at halftime of last night's game: "Just let me see which Chargers highlight they show from the Dolphins game, then you can change the channel."

When they were going through the games Dolphins got one highlight and they moved on to the next game. Pretty standard.

And yet, after each win (and loss) Phin fans explode on Philbin blaming him for every failure and not giving him ANY credit for the success.

We have such a bipolar fan base, it's no wonder nobody takes us seriously.

People are going to figure out that we actually have a pretty good football team coming together. Honestly, I think it's great. The players relish being underdogs and I don't pay attention to ESPN anyway.

Good point. Part of it is because everyone else is going like "woot! you lost to the Dolphins?? Man, you suck!"

I don't know if they showed the brief highlights of the win vs. NE in the opener at halftime of Sunday Night Football but they did last night. As far as I know it's the first time they've showed the Dolphins in that spot. They typically only show 4-5 games and they've never been a part of it until last night.

They actually showed the Fins highlights 3 times last night. The first time they showed two TD passes one to Matthews and Clay and Jones pick. The second time they showed just a single highlight with the Rivers interview and then they showed halftime highlights.

We should start to garner respect after winning 4 of 5 but we aren't going to get much attention being behind the Pats and Bills in the standings.

But like others said who gives a **** and I am glad the players don't either.

We won't get any respect until we won the division and the way new england is playing we may have to win out. Although I think the Lions can beat the Pats. Perfect team to beat them

Win and it doesn't matter. If we continue winning we won't be in third place for long. It's not too early to talk playoffs but it is too early to worry about division standings

After the Bears big win, the entire locker room imploded.

With B Marshall on the roster it was only a matter of time.

Agreed. At least, they will be critical of New England. Its incredibly funny how nothing bad is EVER said about potsburgh. Collinsworth calling a stealers games < Dierdorf announcing anything.
