You might get a call from a team other than the Dolphins, but nobody is going to give squat. Miami got calls from teams besides KC for Surtain, but nobody was willing to pay his worth because they knew Miami was in a spot.

Trent Dilfer can't throw the ball at all and won the Superbowl. Teams have to gameplan for him and he has gotten better throwing the ball every year. The WR and TE's have been awful in the ATL till Crumpler stood up last 2 years. He isn't the greatest passing QB yet but he has more TD's than INT's (36-26) which is a good sign for a young QB. David Carr who most teams would love to have has more starts than Vick (43-36) but has a much worse (34-42) Td-Int ratio. Remember Vick is 24 years old..

Chicago will go with Kyle Orton before they trade for Rivers. Hutchinson will probably be the starter for now ... at least until after preseason.

We need to go after Brees or Rivers next year. I highly doubt Feeley will become the answer, as I've felt the entire way. Even if Frerotte has a good year, what is he, 34-years old? We need a good, young QB.

WHat exactly didn't you like about his college game?? I watched everyone that I could at the time and have most still on tape. Please give some reason to your statement. Did you not like the throwing motion, his release (which is described as being 2nd only to Marino), or just the fact that he played on a horrible NC state team that he made respectable? I personally would give next years 1st for him in a second. I can guarantee he is better than anyone coming out next year.

This is not the type of player or person we want on the team. I'm sure Saban will look long & hard at all QB's in next years draft, as well as who could be picked up via free agency or trade. Vick's not going to be a ranking contender.

I agree that Rivers should be good. I recal that when Marino was briefly part of the team he scouted both Rivers and Roethlisberger and was very impressed by both. However, it's hard to swallow another unproven QB unless it is a good trade. As for Ron Mexico, let him run around in madden; he sucks.
