While nobody is doubting that Dontari Poe is an upgrade over Earl Mitchell, and even Jordan Phillips, he isn’t the player that he’s hyped up to be. He has name recognition based off his Pro Bowl 2013 & 2014 seasons. That player deserves big money in the free agency market.

The Dontari Poe teams are getting in 2017 is one that has seen his tackling numbers declined every year for the last four years and has not been a pass rushing presence in the past two years.

Agreed! I'm not a Poe fan at all, and for what he wants to likely be paid, no thank you. Growing up in South Jersey and watching many Eagles games has me wishing we would take a look at Bennie Logan instead. The guy works his ass off, unlike Poe.

What makes anyone think that he'd say yes to the dolphins?

Ozzy rules!!

Like I said, he's boom or bust...how's that back that's the real question....if it's fine then a motivated Poe on a 1 year deal, playing with Suh and Wake....yea he could be a monster.

Bennie Logan or Jonathan Hankins would both be better pick ups. Hope to see us try to get one of them

I could get behind Bennie Logan. I doubt he breaks the bank either. Or Hankins.

We need somebody though.

No way Poe is coming here, he will get more than we can provide.

A DT with a creaky back sounds like a risky investment.

agreed, id rather cheaper and quality guys like Bennie. I wish teams would realize that overspending doesn't do much lol.

Unless Poe learns to play offensive guard, I'm not interested. And we don't have enough to pay the man regardless of where he plays.

Small deals, thats about I see from here out considering the cap.

Interesting how the money spicket around the leauge slowed immediately after that first wave. I know thats a little similar to the past but it was like teams identified main targerts paid for them and now waits for the market/players to come to them.
