Miami needs to upgrade the athleticism at backup QB, and Ponder is a great athlete at QB, and has started on a playoff team. I think this is the perfect backup QB to Tannehill!
 
Im a Blake Sims fan for Dolphins practice squad qb this year. And thats the extent of my interest in practice squad qbs.
 
Is he available?? I don't know why I thought he was traded somewhere. But, if he is available, I would love to see what Lazor can do with him.

What makes you think he would be better with the Phins?
 
I would bring him in, he's smart, he's mobile, he's accurate on the run, he's a good team player.

He's got a ton more upside than Moore or the two jokers we just let go.
 
Though I like Ponder's athleticism I think Moore is the better QB and I'm inclined to think he is really good in the locker room. If they went to a 3d QB then I would take a look. There is no doubt the need to start looking for a good backup is near.

And upside? He has been in the league what 4/5 years? Still a bum
