Rosenhaus said Miami, Tennessee and Seattle showed interest but never followed up. Burress might have to wait until another player is injured."I'd be surprised if he isn't signed right after this first round of preseason games, when teams can see what they have," Rosenhaus said. "Then again, I thought it would be done during free agency in the spring. Then I thought it would be before OTAs. Then I thought he'd have a new team by the start of training camp.
"It can happen at any time."

Basically, teams have to wait and see reality smack them in the face that they so desperately need talent at the WR position that they will go against everything they preach about character and sign this moron because he can still get it in the endzone better than most players in the league.

I really hope we dont get this loser on our team. Its bad enough we already have to deal with Chad Johnson, David Garrard, and Vontae. Philbin talked so much about how were going to get character guys but, all that goes out of the window I guess when you realize Bess, Hartline, and Naanee are all you have.

Hearing Dallas lands Plax.

I think that's a GREAT pickup for them and puts them in the driver seat for that division.

Can't agree more....thank you

If Plax would have just apologized and owned up to what he did instead of blaming Coughlin, the NFL, and the mayor or NY, I think he would have a job right now. Instead, he chose to be a douchebag about everything and is now broke and unemployed.

The nfl network said Dallas is interested but no signing was Imminent. How can a guy that no one in the leauge really wants all of a sudden make Dallas front runners?

Because of what is opposite of him. I think Plax fits in the Dallas system the best. He's not a guy that will be targeted 10 times per game, but he's a big target in the red zone. Cowboys need that in a receiver.

Also, I don't think it's far fetched that the Cowboys win that division even without him. That's a very tough division that's always a toss up.

I agree with most of what you said but To me
.... Plax isn't putting a team over the top

I've said it to his face and Ill say it here again, "We dont want you", Burris.

Not when it comes to winning a Super Bowl. But in that system and in that division, he could make a difference when that division could very well go down to the final week.

Wallace and Moore are essentially done developing. What we see out of them is what we get. Gates on the other hand may still be somewhat salvagable, however IMO he will never be better than what he is. If I were to let one of these guys go, it would definitely be Moore. The dude drops just about everything thrown to him. For a WR to consistently drop passes, that is completely uncalled for and doesnt deserve a place on an NFL roster.

I have no idea why you think that Gates will never be better than what he is now, considering that what he lacks more than anything is desperately needed experience. The guy is relativley new to football.
