Dolphins shutting down Finsiders show ...

I live outside DC and I listen to WQAM everyday. it is good. You can just do a quick Google search for WQAM Audio and it will come right up! There's a few different shows that bring in players, former coaches, analysts, etc
 
That sucks. Although I always listen to 560 WQAM or 790 The Ticket.
 
Sad.

This show was the reason I became a hardcore fan rather than just watching games

Will always be grateful to Jesse and the gang for that

They had great access to the fins players no external show will match
 
The new host was pretty dull. Shame though.

I thought Greg was miles more personable and better than Agler who was mechanical and just plain dull.
 
I feel like Agler was just more excited. He just seemed to like it more to me. I get a little bit of phony from Likens but he's not bad.
 
I think Likens tried to tone himself down on purpose because he wasn't allowed to say what was really on his mind. When he was on WQAM he was actually quite outspoken and critical of the Dolphins. He had to suppress a lot of that when he joined a show that was essentially a mouthpiece of the organization.

I used to listen to it more when Agler was around. It was just too optimistic after awhile. It wasn't honest discussion. I still will miss it though. I'd listen to podcast clips time to time.
 
Best wishes to Greg Likens and team for the future. Greg was a total professional at all times and did his best to showcase the Dolphins.
 
I agree that they didn't have a free voice , but obviously that was going to be the case for a show that ran by the team . Still , it was the only thing on in my car after work or anytime I was driving from 4-7 pm
 
Your not going to have a free voice when you're broadcasting from the building. Cmon.

But it was nice for the interviews they got with players.

They did some cool things.

I'll miss them.

Now it's going to be ultra negative 24/7.
