The Dolphins announce today they signed 12 players to future contracts: LB Lamin Barrow, CB Daniel Davie, OT Jesse Davis, QB Brandon Doughty, RB Storm Johnson, LB Deon Lacey, DE Arthur Miley, TE Chris Pantale, RB Senorise Perry, OT Terry Poole, DE Julius Warmsley and LB Brandon Watts.

Ah yeah, Warmsley stayed on our PS this season. He was a preseason darling. Wonder if he has developed any. Could use some young up and comers along the D-line, though he's more of a DT than end I think. Guy had a very high motor if I remember correctly.
 
Hey, curious why Warmsley didn't get reps ahead of the Orr guy or no 75 whoever that was? Were those guys truly better / more experienced? Don't know anything about them.
 
Last week I was wondering what happened to Storm Johnson. It seems like he should still be in the league.

Kind of a Tony Nathan type, jack of all trades. I always thought he should lose some weight to gain quickness and moves, the Le'Veon Bell route.

Johnson was a fan favorite early in his Canes career, particularly after some rugged runs up the gut in a spring game. Then he transferred relatively early in his career to Central Florida. I seem to remember it was under the advice of his dad. Anyway, he was an effective combo with Bortles for a season or two after he became eligible at UCF. I thought he'd have a 3-5 year career as NFL backup and spot starter.
 
Mostly camp bodies of course but most of the time one or two of those guys will make the team. Can't wait for free agency and the draft. Just wish we had more picks(freaking t-dumb)....lol

I think that when Warmsley was asked to go up against better talent, he was lacking in size and his effort just couldn't make up for it. But maybe I'm getting mixed up with someone else.
