I think its now obvious they didnt want to necessarily cut Mormino, and that the failed physical was a surprise to them.

Spanos was a three-year letterman at USC (2004-05, 2007). He played in 10 games, including nine starts at center, as a senior in 2007 when he was an All-Pac-10 Conference honorable mention pick. Born December 31, 1984, he attended Corona (Calif.) High School.

Starting at USC isn't exactly the easiest job to land in the nation. The guy's got to have some ability. I like that he played in a pro style offense. Well see if he can land a backup roll.

I like how they're takin' care of these signings fast and hopefully there 'get it done' attitude will show up this season and for years to come. granted they're 6th and 7 rounders but I dont think any other team is gettin there rooks signed this quick. What are you talking about? They only need to be signed to come to TC. That starts at the end of July. They can participate in all OTAs and minicamps without contracts.

And there is zero doubt they will be signed for TC.
