I appreciate your use of hyperbole... but I don't think the WR and Safety slots were really necessary :p or the '2' DT slots

Actually we might need the 2 DTs slots. Unless we plan on drafting someone in the 2nd or 3rd round.
 
$25 Million Guaranteed is a good number for the Phins. Call this a win. He's a good pass blocker and Tannehill's development is more important than anything else to this franchise. Lets go get a guard and a RT!

Monroe's agent has no leverage lol. The fact that no teams have really shown any interest in Monroe is a bit of a red flag IMO.
 
I figured $30 million guaranteed on $47.5. I won't lose sleep over this contract (or any contract, to be fair).
 
Don't like it, but I can't argue with 9 mill a year. It's what Long would have gotten here. Would have rather had Veldheer or Saffold, but i'm ok with it I guess...

Either Monroe was asking for some drastic coin, or GM's know something we don't.

I'm going with the first.

And he got bit back hard. With all the top FA OT's gone Monroe has zero leverage.

4yrs 34 million and 16 guaranteed is more than 5 yrs 46 million and 25 guaranteed? Interesting math
 
Albert's deal is basically a 3 year deal for $28 million. We can cut him after year 3 with minimal repercussions. Its an overpayment, but it was necessary. Lets move on to RT/OG now....

Can't believe Saffold got nearly as much guaranteed $ as Albert a year after losing LT job to Jake Long.
